New Footscray Hospital Jobs Hub

New Footscray Hospital Jobs Hub unveiled in the heart of the community

The new Footscray Hospital Jobs Hub is now open, creating opportunities for jobseekers in the inner-west and beyond.

Anyone interested can drop into the centre at 138 Nicholson Street, Footscray, to explore work and training opportunities on the new $1.5 billion Footscray Hospital construction project.

The Jobs Hub has been established by Apprenticeships Victoria in partnership with the Victorian Health Building Authority, Plenary Health and builder Multiplex to provide a one-stop-shop for work and training opportunities on the project.

The centre connects jobseekers to recruitment, skills training, careers counselling and employment pathways on the project. It also facilitates workforce development programs for existing project workers and contractors.

Construction of the new Footscray Hospital is now underway, with the hospital expected to open in 2025. The project will employ more than 2,000 people, with the Jobs Hub creating a pipeline of skilled workers to help build the world-class healthcare project.

The Jobs Hub is a one-stop shop supporting industry, contractors, jobseekers and students. It focuses on employment opportunities, skills development and wider community benefits.
