Changes to your training contract
If you're 18 or over:
- Apprentices: After the probation period, your training contract can be changed, paused or cancelled. By law, this can only occur if both you and your employer agree to the changes. If you are unsure about what a change means, speak with an Apprenticeship Support Officer.
- Trainees: You or your employer can cancel your training contract at any time. Mutual agreement is not required.
If you're under 18:
- A parent or guardian must sign your training contract.
- They also need to agree to and sign any changes.
