The Victorian Government acknowledges Aboriginal Traditional Owners of Country throughout Victoria and pays respect to their cultures and Elders past, present and emerging.
Victoria’s Big Build is all about investing in our state’s infrastructure, roads and railways, and through the new Big Build Apprenticeships (BBA) scheme, we are investing in a skilled workforce for the future.
Big Build Apprenticeships is a program run by Apprenticeships Victoria. BBA offers up to 1500 apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities on some of Victoria’s biggest projects, such as the North East Link, the New Footscray Hospital and the Warrnambool Learning and Library Hub.
Attracting more people to trades is critical in supporting Victoria’s recovery. Apprentices and trainees can choose from career pathways such as plumber, carpenter, electrical contractor, project manager, building inspector and many more. We welcome all kinds of candidates from wide and diverse backgrounds to skill or re-skill, and work with industry, employers, GTOs and training institutes to make it happen.
Big Build Apprenticeships give people a chance to be part of Victoria’s biggest infrastructure projects, play an important role in rebuilding our economy, and learn new skills that will set them up for life.
